Recipient Organisations consist of the schools, early childhood centres, community groups and organisations that receive recycled sports gear.
Schools – we target several Schools in our community to reach students with their own ball, assist with shoes such as sneakers and/or football/rugby/touch boots and check if their PE shed needs any items.
Early Childhood Centres – we reach several early childhood centres to provide gear to assist with the vital early fundamental skills development that under 5 year olds require – soft balls, bats, hula hoops – these all help grow their motor and sport development skills
Community Organisations & Groups – we provide gear to reach children via the amazing work our Regional Sports Trusts do, their engagement and programmes reach many children and families. We assist with new families who have refugee status, a simple sports ball can help integrate a new child into our community.
“I have received so much positive feedback from the students, teachers and families about the sports balls and equipment in the bags. All are so grateful and blown away with the generosity. The children that received these are all sports mad and have played and played with their gifts at home and in the community”
